Hi! I am a uni student who is trying to learn how to save and use money effectively before going off into the real world, and I just joined this sub.
My uni is offering an online course titled Fundamentals of Personal Finance Management, however the enrollment fee is $275, including a $50 textbook (Personal Finance by Jane King and Mary Carey, Oxford University Press). To me, the price is pretty steep, so I was wondering if this is worth it. It's kind of ironic that I need to spend money to learn how to save it... On the other hand, I have zero understanding of personal finance and would really like to learn about it.
This is the course outline. It seems pretty structured. Do you think its worth its cost? If not, would anyone be kind enough to direct me to resources that would cover these topics in an easy and accessible way for a beginner?
