It’s been a few years of bad financial decisions that have gotten me to this point. Not going to deny it. But I’ve been working hard over the last few months to turn it around and build some financial stability, mainly with advice gleaned from this sub.
However, now I’m in a real pickle. This blow of having my car repoed because I missed the payment hit hard in the midst of trying to get back on track. And frankly, I don’t have any idea what to do. I don’t know any way to make money quickly enough to get my car back so I can work, and I’m only a few hundred dollars short which is beyond infuriating.
Does anyone have advice for situations like this? How do you deal with an actual emergency if it hits before you’ve had the chance to build an emergency fund?
