I'm going to be removing an unnecessary shower in my basement bathroom to replace with needed storage.I do not see any shutoff valves for the shower. The right hand picture is where the handles come through the fiberglass, with the middle line going to the shower head. I was already planning to cut back the pipes if required and cap them off. Am I going to have to shut the water off to the house to do that?Edit:Don't ask me about the duct taped 2x4, my guess is it was used to keep the pipes from moving. This is tucked in a corner behind my water heater and in 9+ years living here I never even noticed it before. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2U1O6GQ
