Hey all. Just a random fine print note...
I got an email from my home security company (single mom, two kids, and yes I pay for fire and home security monitoring) telling me that they were raising my fees to upgrade the cell coverage of my home security to 4G. In the email fine print, which aligned with my contract when I dug a little deeper, it said I can object to the fee. They’ll either waive it or release me from my contract.
I called, I objected, they waived. And the guy said they wouldn’t ever really release from contract for a small fee increase. They just waive it and upgrade my coverage at no monthly cost to me.
Yay fine print!
