So we read a lot on PF from people who think buying a new car is the worst financial decision ever. But after driving clunkers for 13 years ( literally the lowest mileage vehicle I had owned was 130k). I am so happy with my new car.
I purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry and I love it. So much stress lifted off my shoulders when it comes to worrying about repairs or wether or not I can make it to work. Seriously is a huge stress reducer.
For the curious I was actually able to put a nice down payment on the vehicle of 10k, thanks in part to the advice given in this sub when it came to saving money over that last several years.
Anyway, just wanted to share and say thanks to all those who contribute to this sub!
