Hey guys, I am going to be converting a half bath into a full bath by turning an adjacent coat closet into a shower stall (photos/sketch attached). The house is built on a cement slab, so I am planning to hire a plumber to work out the drainage and supply for the shower - also how to move the pipes for the sink. I don't have much trepidation on moving and replacing the closet walls, but I would like to hear from you all whether I should first hire a plumber to give me an idea of what's involved or whether I should be talking to a contractor for this type of work.
