We are planning on doing DIY install of snap lock wood flooring on the ground floor of our slab house in Virginia Beach. We were over at a friend's house today and saw their flooring has T-moulding in the house for apparently no reason. Pic of actual T-moulding (T-moulding may not be right term). This got me to thinking why....is there some rule of thumb with snap lock flooring that says you can't/shouldn't have a run more than XX feet? Some other reason for this?In our house, we plan on running the entire floor in one direction which would make for some long runs. From the front door to the back door is ~30 feet for example. Would this represent a specific problem?MS Paint of layout of our house via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2FDzoSR
