Hey, Just to get the, what will momentarily be very obvious, out of the way. I'm new to building things. Me hanging up a cupboard is a major achiement for me when it comes to this stuff so I might be asking for the obvious....sorry if I am.So we just bought a new house that wasn't fully completed. The interior doors are not in yet. They are bought but not in. The reason they're not in is because the hole in the walls are ~4cm too high for the actual frame that's meant to go in. So until this is fixed, we can't put in doors... Not a fun time. We could get it done professionally but as you can imagine, money is a bit of a luxury after buying a house. We knew there was work to be done but we're trying to save where possible. My question: Is this something a newbie to these things can realistically do? If yes, how? The house is built out of cinder blocks and there are ~4cm missing from the top.Edit: Link of pictures: http://ift.tt/2BNI4Qf for any help. Also sorry for formatting.
