My wife is an amazing cook, and often cooks meat that smokes and sets off the alarm. We have a microwave with a fan, but no ducting above it to receive any sucked up smoke. So, I want to find or make something I can plug in next to the stove to suck up the smoke so my smoke alarm doesn’t go off. I’m thinking of a small (6x6?) portable box fan, with some ducting behind it and a filter to catch the smoke.Any and all ideas are welcome (that don’t include adding ducting to my kitchen wall or roof)Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2H0oOSu
