So my post got deleted for not being descriptive enough...
I live in a very hot climate where anything that is hot glued together tends to detach over time (including metal pans and mirrors in compacts, etc).
I use a glasses case for bobby pins and hair bits - as a result, I never really have to buy new bobby pins. Anyway, the lining of the glasses case had basically melted off, and the lining itself was stained.

I traced around the box with pencil onto the back of the fabric to get the right shapes.
A new home for my hair things :)
One of the benefits of doing this was that I ended up with a lot more volume inside of the box, so things like the dolphin clip could fit inside when previously they couldn't.
