Hello everyone I’m from the DMV (dc , md , va ) Haven’t been to college nor do I know anyone who has or where’s to start . I’m currently a bartender downtown making ok money to get by . But I want more for myself . I’m a only child , don’t have to much family . Just me and my girlfriend which works at Starbucks . Do you guys think it’s to late for me ? As far as going back to school or quitting my job and looking for a trade or something lucrative?
I grew up in the (hood) but that’s no excuse I haven’t really known anyone to go to college or get a trade . Most people where dealing drugs or scamming but I don’t see a future In doing crimes . Crazy part is most people I call my “friends” applaud me for becoming a bartender downtown and getting my own place “making it out”. But I know there’s more to life
