After Christmas, all the Christmas stuff will be on sale. Some of it will be obviously Christmas-y, but some of it will be just silvery, gold, or only green or only red.
Here is my tip: When you look through the sale stuff, some of the silver or gold things can be used to celebrate/decorate for New Year. Some of the red stuff can be used to celebrate/decorate for Valentine's Day. Finally, the green stuff can be saved for St Patrick's in March. I know it takes some forethought, but think wrapping paper, candies like M&Ms, gift bags and so on.
Some places here in the States go to 90% off eventually, so you could have your 2019 holidays much cheaper!
