I'm preparing to paint a bedroom, and convert it to a nursery. I've seen varying opinions on whether or not to tape off the popcorn ceiling. I've seen some recommend using a painter's shield, and wiping it each time, and I've seen videos that say to lightly scrape along the edge where the ceiling meets the wall with a flathead to promote tape adhesion (granted, this was from 3M, who sells tape).I wanted to know your opinions on this.
