High-end clothing stores have the same basic shirts, pants, etc., year round. The only difference is the item number from season to season. My husband discovered this when we were at a shop known for shirts, owned by Brothers - we both spotted the colour at the same time on different racks. The one he held up was $85, mine was $10. Both had the same model #, colour code etc., so the salesman had to find the item number to verify the difference.
So, check the clearance racks when new merchandise is advertised and you may find the same shirt on the mannequin deeply discounted.
