Last night I found a silk brooks brothers cardigan and a pair of theory dress pants. In my country, that'd easily retail 400$+. I am transitioning from the field to the office on wall st, and my wardrobe needs to match this shift. I was unaware of how sutble and classist corporate culture is, so I quickly had to replace the majority of my wardrobe in a matter of weeks. I mainly did this through thrifting. I have spent gross maybe 300$ in a year on a wardrobe that is worth $4000+. I have Boss suits, designer shoes all from my neighborhood thrift stores. So check those out.
