This may not be the best place for this question and I’m posting from my phone. So apologies in advance.
I live in a large home (4000 sq ft) with my wife and five kids. We rent the home, and I am having a very hard time finding a renters policy that will cover even a fraction of our contents.
Most policies max out at around $50,000 for contents and $10,000 for electronics. We have multiple high end laptops, flat screen tv’s, iPads, etc.
Can I get multiple policies and if I have a claim, claim different items against each policy? (Texas, USA). I know I couldn’t claim the same item against the same policy. But say I claimed my fridge ($3500) against one and washer/dryer against another?
