Hello everyone,
I am studying a bachelor of accounting, and REALLy want to become a financial planner in the USA.
I am an American citizen, and my degree will be from Australia.
I have a couple questions to ask to anyone who is in this field.
1) Can I get a CFA or a CFP with an Australian degree?
2) How hard is it to understand the job and "get the ball rolling" so to speak? Can any guy do it with only an accounting background? I have ZERO idea about how to invest peoples money etc (other than the basics)
-Is there much on the job training?
3) Will the fact that my degree is from Australia affect the chances of me getting a job?
4) Please add/answer questions if i missed any out :)
