https://ift.tt/2zx41DO I got a real old furnace that looks like it's from the 70s. It started blowing cold air last night and it appears to me that the pilot is out.The furnace instructions are confusing, and make reference to actuating a "spark lever or button" which I can't locate. There's a weird loose button underneath the assembly which I thought might be the "reset" button so many tutorials reference to, but pressing it doesn't seem to have an affect. What I've tried:I've turned the red knob to "off" for 5 minutes, then turned it to "pilot." I've tried both holding the knob in the "set" position (to the right of "pilot") while sticking a match in the opening, and pressing what I think may be the "reset" button and also sticking a match in the opening. No response as yet.Any ideas? This is NOT my area of expertise. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Dpe4PT
