Not sure where else to ask this question.
Thieves broke into my car while I was surfing and stole my wallet. They cleaned out my checking account (~$4k) at Target before I got back to my car. They did not know my PIN, they probably swiped the card as credit.
I filed a fraud claim with my bank (USAA). Do banks typically return money that is lost via debit card theft? I am unsure how much I should be freaking out right now.
