I’m not sure if this is allowed but my mom passed away yesterday and medically my sister(23f) and I(21f) were her power of attorneys (written medically) but she never wrote a will or has any legal documents stating that aside from the hospital one. Are we automatically as her kids the ones who handle all of her financial stuff (house, cars and little sister (17)) we just don’t want anyone else in the family to try and take everything sell it for their own personal gain and not leave anything for my siblings and I as me and my big sister are taking on paying for the funeral expenses on our own. Any advice would help.
