For some context. I just got a free drink at McDonald's (with a purchase of fries) and got another order of fries for my girlfriend for a buck. Just because I downloaded their app, and checked out their deals.
I got two free slices of pizza from a gas station chain (Kum & Go), along with a 10¢ off-per-gallon loyalty reward on gas this morning.
And on my local committee to work, Flying-J gas stations give 3¢ off per gallon if you have their (free) loyalty card.
It is a little bit of extra work on your end, but get some apps, and sign up for the loyalty programs of the places you are going to go to anyway. You will get a lot more value out of it
