https://ift.tt/2Aczf4R have thought of DIYing a Milk pasteurization machine. what I have learnt about pasteurization process is that you have to heat the milk at 72°C to 74°C for 15 to 20 seconds (according to fat content) then cool down it to 4°C.So thats how I have conceptualized the pasteurization machine. I will use a induction stove and pot which will have valved pipes and temperature sensors near the valves (as shown in the rough diagram above).Induction stove will start heating the milk in the pot. When the temperatures sensors sense the milk temperature to be 72°C it will maintain that temperature for 15 secs by sending signals to induction stove to alter heat high low so temperature remains constant for 15 secs. After the 15 secs temp sensor will open the valve and let the milk drain to the refrigerator the valve will only close when temp sensor senses temperature below 72°C. Then again it will heat that milk at 72°C for 15 secs and repeat the process. What do you think about it? will it work? Am I missing something?Milk pasteurization machines in my region are costly thats why I want to DIY. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2NHGkhh
