I spent years and years using a bunch of different spreadsheets and notebooks to manage my personal finances. A few years ago I found YNAB and really liked the philosophy and software (YNAB4). I can honestly say it has changed my life and I am much more confident with my spending, saving and investing thanks to the clarity that software gave. I have grown more and more disenchanted as YNAB moved towards a subscription model and seemed to sell out.
I also felt it lacked investment management features that I need to bring my entire financial management system together. I recently began building my own tool that uses the envelope budgeting method. I wanted to bring account management, foreign currency support and goal setting / expense scheduling into my new software tool. I also wanted to expand a financial planning feature set.
I was wondering if there was much interest in the community if I worked towards a public release in the future? Is there any features that would make you interested?
