I had a cell phone back in high school under cingular/AT&T and after they tried force changing my plan back around 2008 or 2009, i switched providers and I paid my last bill so I'm not sure where they're getting that amount from and I was out of contract.
They apparently contacted my brother somehow saying i owed them $80 yet they never once contacted me, mailed anything, or the email they should have on file at any given point. (Have had the same information my whole)
So I'm not entirely sure why they're contacting him about it or unsure what to do since I dont have records from att or cingular but I know for certain I paid and ported my number.
I'm not sure if it was AT&T themselves or a collection agency that contacted him but still weird none the less that i wasn't contacted directly
