The fixture has a “universal” mounting plate. I have to use this plate as the fixture mounts onto it. Well not quite, the one possible fit leaves the fixture crooked.However, the so called “universal” mounting plate doesn’t fit into both holes of the box, nor can it be mounted onto the existing crossbar.I bought a second universal crossbar (the same round one type as the fixture). I hoped the crossbar, the universal mounting plate and the light fixtures universal mounting plate would be able to line up when installed together.Should I be using the mounting crossbar that looks like 2 crossbars instead? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2CWdrh2
