I pulled down carpet in my living room and hallway, which exposed the concrete slab. It is uneven at certain spots, one of the spots is a pretty big bump... I am thinking of having the concrete grinded and flattened. I got a quote from a contractor - concrete grinding ($2000) - optional vapor barrier treatment ($500).Is having the entire floor grinded an overkill? Do I need to have the vapor barrier applied after grinding? (I am installing luxury vinyl planks, which are water resistant) via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2sJQjwa
