I’m building an outdoor kitchen and have it framed out with steel studs and was ready to cut and drop the granite slab for the top - what, if any, underlay do I need? I was thinking about just using thick silicone to adhere the granite directly to the steel frame, but then debated 1/4” cement board on top underneath.
