So here's the context, I am 21, dependent and am studying abroad in the US, my parents (mom) asked me to authorize my saving account (my pocket money when I was a kid) or create a new one for her to deposit a certain amount of cash and withdraw it back monthly, to create a balance sheet for future purpose. Personally I have a separate college checking account that I use to buy stuffs and pay bills and such, and I mostly never touched my saving account and it doesn't have much money in it (few thousands). The amount she would deposit and withdraw should be a couple thousand each month. Should I do this for her before I go back to school? I know it's a way to show the bank and build creditability for future when I need to borrow money but that's all I know and my dad doesn't seem to be supporting the idea and said it wasn't necessary for me yet. Any advice or information about this? Thanks.
