Hi,I recently got the idea to build a handheld pc for running more or less modern games. But I came across a few difficulties. First, I want to clarify what I want to make. The handheld should be able to play games like overwatch, darkest dungeon, half life 2, bioshock 2 and dark souls 1 on low quality settings with at least 30 fps. I would also like to emulate gamecube and N64 titles. Maybe some playstation 2 games, but I've heard that that would be very hard. So, from what I've researched I know that I need a x86 processor. Because of the small form factor, a pci gpu wouldn't fit, so it has to be an apu. That is my first problem. I can't seem to find an apu compatible with single board computers that are powerful enough. The case shouldn't be as much as a problem, I'll just 3d print it. It should look something like that one https://ift.tt/2xAuOOA can't find a fitting screen however. It should be 6``-7``, 1280x720 and shouldn't cost that much. I saw this one, but it's discontinued and costs a few bucks more than I would like to spend. I would spend a bit more if it was a touchscreen though. https://ift.tt/2QITmh5 don't think that speakers are important. A normal 3.5 audio jack is more than enough. Bluetooth and wifi however are essential. For buying the buttons and sticks, is there any place on the internet you guys can recommend? Is there anything else I have to know? That's my first project in that matter so I'm sorry if I'm too uninformed. Many thanks in advance c: via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2xzFXz5
