2lb bags of carrots were BOGO. Now I have 4lbs of carrots. How do I preserve these?

As in the title. I don't like Buy One, Get One Free deals, especially on produce. But what's done is done.

Can carrots be frozen? Cellared? Buried in my garden, since winter is settling in?
