I bought an all in one screen replacement (includes front face camera, proximity sensor, and audio speaker) so all you have to do is connect a few wires.I did that, and the screen worked but the front face camera did not work. In my ignorance I didnt check the speaker or proximity sensor.Anyway after double checking that I connected the wires sufficiently I swapped for my original camera, proximity sensor, etc.Same result. After a few times fooling aroudn with it I was not able to turn the phone on by pressing the power button. I then tried to hold the power button and home button at the same time. This time the front face camera worked.Then when trying to put the metal bracket on, some of the wires came dislodged and I fumbled a few more times trying to get everything in place.Now Im back to the front face camera not working. Neither does the speaker or prox sensor. I checked many times I have attached everything. No idea whats going onCoud it be a software issue? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2BY6VGi
