I'd never planned a trip before and had no idea what to expect. I tried to budget for an hour and a half of extra time, but we had to take 3 buses and every one of them was delayed 15-30 minutes - certain bus rides scheduled on ADO's website just weren't available. I also incorrectly thought the final bus ride was 4 hours when it was 4 and a half. We ended up reaching check-out 20 minutes before listed departure time. They told us we couldn't board and to speak to Interjet's customer service, who then told us to fuck off that a lost ticket is a lost ticket and they would do nothing to compensate us.

We asked them twice and they wouldn't budge, didn't even offer a discount on a return flight. Their online check-in service wasn't working, and I couldn't find any mention of a no-refunds policy for missed flights listed on their website.

The extra tickets came out to $1800 between the 5 of us. The whole ordeal really put a damper on the end of the trip and I feel so guilty over how little I was prepared for this event. Is there anything I can do?
