Planning on freshening up the house with some new paint, the first time I did it didn’t get very clean edges on the ceiling and this time I’d like to get it rights I have a “popcorn” ceiling which makes it way more awkward so was hoping someone could give me some advice on how to get a nice edge when painting the walls I have tried cutting with a brush but my hands shake far too much. Did find some techniques online:-Use small flat head screwdriver to create a thin flat edge around the whole room then run masking tape and stick one edge to the flat piece you created-Use a metal edging tool to paint against-Don’t paint right to the ceiling leave a small gap (1/16th or so maybe use pin strip tape)-Put up coving (expensive option)I priced up painters but as nice as it would be to let someone one else do it that is way over my budget via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2PhCAFi
