Hello all,

I guess to,give a little background, 37, college education, had a very high paying for 9 years up until last year. I started having sever panic attacks during presentations which left me humiliated and ultimately I gave up the job and just quit.

For the 9 years that I did work I was able to save around $170K, have around $110K in my IRA, drive an average reliable Honda Pilot, live rent free in my parents vacation home (it’s nothing fancy, it’s in the country.) my only expenses are my phone bill and my internet.

The problem is I have no health insurance so one large health issue or castrophe and it would wipe out all my cash. I literally never leave the house except to tend to my garden, my parents are really understanding and just want me to get better. Been going to psychiatrics since I was a kid, parents always knew there was something with my brain.

I know my cash isn’t going to last forever and will eventually run out. So do I focus on building my wealth and be super fragile and try to make it last longer. Or do I pull out all my cash and simply just hide it? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.
