As title says my sister decided to go out of state for an art history degree and minor in law, needing to graduate in 5 years. As a result my sister has accumulated 30,000 in loans and my mom had to cover the rest is PLUS loans of I believe over 100,000 (she told me its around this amount). My sister got a job in the commercial industry paying around 25$ an hour which is same income as my mom.

I feel really bad for my mom as I am the most successful one in my family about to make about $100,000 as a software engineer this year and just graduated college with minimal student loan debt (20,000) none of which she took out, all on me. My mom never asked me but she was really sad and I told her I would give her about 300$ a month to help her out. I warned my mom and sister about going out of state as the debt would be huge especially for an art history degree and they didn't listen. I love my mom but then again they dug themselves into this hole and it will take a long time to dig out. What should I do?
