Hi guys,
Posted this in r/minimalism as well but just trying to get some advice if possible!
I'm in the process of preparing for a move from the UK to Canada. I'll be moving in January, and I'm moving to Winnipeg which really experiences all 4 seasons (winter and summer mostly though!). My luggage allowance is 23kg hold bag plus a standard sized carry-on up to 10kg.
So, those of you who have moved continent to a colder climate with minimal luggage:
-Is there anything you didn't bring but ultimately wish you had?
-Is there anything you did bring and ultimately wish you hadn't?
I have suitable warm clothing that'll see me through the potentially -40C temperatures (rare but it does happen). I just need to figure out the absolute necessities, as I don't see my 33kg total going as far as I might need. I'm definitely excited to start completely from scratch once I get there and live with less!
Thanks for your help :)
