I'm not sure this is the best place to be asking for advice, but I figure there has to be a healthy amount of people in the finance industry here.
Anyway, I'm getting my Masters degree right now in Accounting & Finance and I wanted to know where to begin post graduation for work? I don't have a background in finance, mid 20's, bachelors degree is in clinical psychology and the graduate school I'm going to is just so-so.
I would love to work in a HF or IB upon graduation, but I'm not naive I don't expect to be landing a nice comfy position right away with JPMorgan or some big IB. What's a good starting point though? What are some positions I should be looking at even before I graduate?
