I am 23, and I will graduate from college in the spring. I have a job lined up where I’ll start around $72K.
My boyfriend/fiancé makes around $22K.
We plan to get married within the next year or two. I absolutely love him but the income difference just can’t be ignored.
That said, I have little to no money or assets right now since I’ve been in college the past few years. Does a pre-nup only protect assets acquired prior to the marriage? If this is the case, how could I protect my (future) money in the event of a divorce?
