Hey guys! After some opinions on my situation. My ex and I were living together in this 1 bed apartment, splitting 335/week between us. My ex ended the relationship and moved out a week before the lease ended, I had nowhere to move to and was blindsided by his decision, so ended up signing a 6 month lease on my own and stayed in the apartment.
I am employed casually, and earn on average around 400-500 a week, and receive around 125 a week in benefits.
I have found apartments ranging from 220 to 280/week. Would the cost of moving and breaking the 4 months left on my lease outweigh the savings per week? Are the savings worth moving for?
Tl;dr: I earn roughly 550 a week, am currently paying 335 a week in rent. Is the cost of breaking my lease and moving worth saving ~$100 a week in rent?
