I had posted recently on r/AskMenOver30 about improving self image if you were older balding and not very good looking. A ton of help and advice came and I implemented the first advice from a number of redditors by shaving my head off last night.

I have a widows peak and thinning crown and I wasn’t sure how I would look. My monthly cut and color expenses including minor trims and styling products was $80-100. After the shave I looked at myself in the mirror and realized I was a lot handsomer than I looked with hair. The validation came this morning when I nervously went to work and people kept telling me that I looked like a completely different person and I should keep it. The secretary even asked me if I was going for a “daddy look”.

Now all I will be doing it keep shaving it and saving money every month. Yay!!

Edit: I misused the word shave - I buzzed it off with a zero guard.
