Hello all,So, this is a weird one. I recently bought a house which has a very (VERY) old electric shower that we'll get rid of when we refurbish the bathroom. The problem with this shower is that the push buttons for cold/medium/hot simply don't work anymore - they are supposed to stay pressed when pushed but they don't. The only way to have a hot shower is to just have the shower while pressing one of the buttons. It was funny at first but it's become a nuisance now. I have tried taping the button with silver tape but it didn't work as the button's spring is too strong and the tape just comes off eventually. Now, we could buy a new shower but that would cost around £100 and we'd only use it for less than a month which is when we want to refurbish the bathroom. Also, I'm not able to buy replacement parts because everything is discontinued. I'll upload a photo of it when I get home to make it easier to understand my struggle. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this unusual problem? Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2tbNcv9
