I see a lot of people on here talk about Darn Tough and wonder if people warranty their socks. I thought I would share my experience. Sent in a few pairs over the years, and their new online system is even better.
You start a claim online and then send in the socks with your claim #. They issue a warranty credit and you can pick out new socks. Great and easy. That's all their is to it. Turn around time is about 3-7 business days in my estimation.
Only snag (pun) I encounter was them emailing me about how pilling is not a valid reason to warranty socks. I get that if I burn the socks in a fire and submit the ashes that's not really a fair use case, but they clearly state on their website that there are no strings or conditions. I emailed them asking where it says this on their website cuz I can't find it.
Forgot to mention you need to wash your socks before you send them in. Otherwise I love their socks and warranty, but it does seem to be more difficult to get them covered.
