Hi, r/DIY. What’s the best way to clean a stained, smelly, rough concrete floor? It’s indoors, has no built-in drain (ie, no floor drain), and has cabinetry and drywall sitting directly on the floor, like a floor in a standard kitchen or bathroom, except it’s rough concrete. Because there is no floor drain, power washing or tossing down a bucket of cleaner aren’t possible. Most of the stains appear to be organic (food, old staining from mold). I don’t have a wire brush, but I do have a variety of things like pushbrooms, scrub brushes, string mops, TSP, bleach, vinegar, and detergents. There is a broken shopvac I might be able to borrow and rig to halfway work.If there’s a better sub for this, I’d appreciate any recs. Thanks for your help! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2KZHVii
