I know it sounds sketchy, but I'm doing a project for work on investing in vices. Everything is hypothetical, but I'm very curious on the subject. I was wondering if any of you guys knew a solid website, book, etc to learn more about it. Maybe if any of you knew about it? I'm curious to see what you guys think.
Basically I would like to know about:
- info about markets related to alcohol, tobacco, gambling, drugs, weed, - how to invest in them (if possible)
- History of how the black markets have affected legal ones. - Pros/Cons of legalization.
- With the social benefits from taxes (education, public healthcare, social services, etc), is investing in vices socially responsible or part of the "sin bin"
- Now that sports gambling is legal...how will the new ruling change things?
- anything really. Appreciate it!
