Hey all. I'm driving home from Fairbanks Alaska to my home in Park City UT next week. The trip is ±3000mi, and the suburban I drive averages 13-15 on the highway with a 31gal tank. I've scraped about $1000US together to set aside for gasoline only. According to GasBuddy's trip planner, I should expect to pay anywhere between 700 and 850 dollars, but a couple other people I've talked to have said it's probably going to cost a bit more. I'm going to be trying to hypermile as much as is possible for a vehicle that big filled to the brim with all my belongings.
Has anybody used GasBuddy/can vouch for its accuracy? Really would rather not wind up stranded in the middle of canada lol.
Peace
