Just as the title says, I was promoted from Pipe Fitter to Foreman but upon a request for a raise (obviously have more responsibilities now) I was told I'm just a "Leadman" but I have the same responsibilities as a foreman. Some background, I'm through a temp company currently being rented out to the company I'm working at. I was offered a job directly through the company at $22/hr but everyone in their right minds would deny that offer because of the $4 pay cut in hourly wage. Two weeks ago I was told I was being promoted to Foreman so I assumed it would come with an automatic raise. I asked about the raise so I assumed it would be taken care of but I was wrong. This past week I talked with my boss who told me the company who is renting me out hasn't approved a raise. Upon talking to the supervisors at the company I'm being rented to they said I'm just a "Leadman" and not an actual foreman yet I have my crew of guys that I direct and delegate. What should I do?
