Over my simple living journey I have found wires to be annoying sources of volume, and any source of wires to be easily replaceable with other things. Just wanted to share what I did.
It made my life easier to have less wires.
-
Electronics wires - charging cables, often you can buy shorter cables online for your devices.
-
Surge protectors have bulky wires, you can buy wall-surge protectors instead that don't have wires.
-
I donated my vacuum and bought a broom.
-
Instead of a toaster, I learned how to toast on a pan.
-
Instead of a coffee maker, I manually brew coffee. I also got a manual hand grinder for my coffee beans. Conditionally, this also upgraded my coffee experience.
-
Instead of a blender, I got more adept with my Shun chef knife. I only have one knife and I cook everything with it.
Anyways, just wanted to share on another way to simplify your home living solutions. Its nice being able to fit everything into your car.
