Hello r/DIY, I need a little bit of help on some drywall repairs. I have researched how to tape and mud the joints a fair bit so I have that covered but my problem arises when old wall meets new wall. I had some water damage and had to cut out about 15'x4' section of drywall. I have it hung back up but I am a little puzzled on how I should go about mudding the joints where it meets the old textured wall. Should I try and sand the old textured wall off? Is there an easy way to do this because I tried and found myself continually fucking up my drywall by gouging it with razors. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2GIDol7
