My wife and installed a shower in our basement bathroom. It was this one:https://www.homedepot.com/p/OVE-Decors-Breeze-34-in-x-34-in-x-76-in-Shower-Kit-with-Reversible-Sliding-Door-and-Shower-Base-Breeze-34-shower-kit-with-walls/204086044The walls are flimsy, which I knew going in. There is space between shower walls and the mold resistant drywall behind it In other words, part of the shower walls attach directly to the drywall, but other parts don't and protrude out leaving air between the shower wall and the dry-wall. It seems to be designed that way.My question is.... does that space between the shower wall and the dry-wall need to be there? Can I spray some type of mold resistant foam spray in there to make it a bit more study so the walls don't as easily flex when we touch them? Thanks for any insight. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2VGUqEz
