Hi all - thanks in advance for the help!

Looking for online resources that'll list the type of investments under management, how many clients are under management, how much is invested and so on and so forth for different branches of big name shops. I want to see if different branches steer their clients in different directions, and ideally, I would also love to see demographic breakdowns of clientele. But I'm fairly certain that even if the former research can be done online, the later would be nearly impossible to find.

In the following example, I'm using real branch names and sites in order to gain an understanding of the research process. I have nothing to do with the region, which is why I chose it. No harm or help intended for either branch or bank.

Example:

Let's say I live in Akron, OH, and I want to find info on the local Merrill Lynch branch and the local Morgan Stanley branch. I looked online and found that Morgan Stanley's group has a branch website, Pentella Group but the Merrill Lynch group site is the same as above, The Carpas Group.

From that info, I can go to Brokercheck and check on an individual's profiles and see their disclosures, licenses, experience, and education... but not the size of their books or number of clients. I can also go on the ADV gov page and get similar info.

...But if I want to find more info on these groups and their investments -- are there online resources? Am I looking into the wrong areas on the resources I already listed? Are there public statements from branches and not the entire firm?

Would really appreciate any direction you all may be able to point me to. Thanks all!
